On the occasion of its 200th anniversary, the long-­‐standing brand COVA based in Milan opens its very first café in Europe

Milan, 5th December 2016 -­‐ COVA, a brand of the LVMH group, announces its partnership with business entrepreneur Flavio Briatore leading to the opening of COVA Monte Carlo.

After Hong-­‐Kong, Tokyo and Shanghai and recent openings in Beijing and Taipei, COVA strengthens its international presence with the first COVA Café in Europe, in the heart of the Principality of Monaco, at no. 19 Boulevard des Moulins. The opening is scheduled for spring 2017.

Designed by Venetian architect and designer Paolo Lucchetta’s firm, RetailDesign, with a careful selection of colours, materials and lights, the new COVA Monte Carlo will echo in a contemporary key the inimitable style and ambiance for which COVA has been famous since 1817. The project will also see the exterior areas of the café restyled in line with the typical Monegasque attitude to consider urban space as an essential part of client’s experience.

At COVA Monte Carlo, the Principality’s local and international clientele will find refined and exclusive products ranging from fresh made on premises pastries to the most traditional recipes and specialities from Milan, including the famous Panettone, a sweet bread symbol of Milan and an iconic product of COVA since 1817.
